Help: how do i make a music player autoplay?

i have a little music player on my art page, and my main index page.

after seeing this site page: https://moonview.neocities.org/shrines/pokemon , and looking at the code, i had the idea of also having a mp3 player that autoplays when you open the page. but my music player doesnt seem to do that- what code do i need to use?

The music player actually is autoplaying! It's just most browsers turn off autoplay by default.
For the autoplay to work you need to turn it on in your browser's settings for the site, or change the default setting for autoplay.

ahh okay, thank you for clearing that up! i wondered if there mightve been a problem with the code, but im glad that isnt the case
