I almost thought I wouldn't have a rec considering a lot of my favorites have already been brought up but luckily, I remembered two I consider super underrated:

- i can't sleep: An entire channel of short animations reminiscent of 2000's emo/scene culture. They all weave together this vague story about a girl desperately trying to keep herself from sleeping and getting repeatedly tortured by a mysterious force. IMPORTANT TRIGGER WARNING: This series has heavily implied themes of SA and trauma, so don't watch if that's a sensitive topic for you.

- AI (Animal Investigator) Builds: A series of fake developments logs about a guy crafting a video game world as it steadily becomes more corrupt. I HIGHLY recommend going into this one blind. If you've ever had rough experiences with mental illness and struggling to love your own art, this will hit home extremely hard.

@MrsMoe Because "i can't sleep" doesn't present itself as happening in real life, I don't think it would count as an ARG or unfiction. But, in regards to online horror, I can also definitely recommend it! Love this channel and its artstyle!
