Hello! I would like to share my new site that lets you search icons and badges! That you can use on your site!

So this was the long-awaited site project you mentioned!! Just wanted to mention that I know the source of some icons, so I'll include them here:

Travelmin: the same person who made the little cat smilies you can use here on the forum . It's in Japanese, so it might be hard to navigate, but they have lots of pixels based on 2chan memes and PowerPuff Girls if that helps.

Mazeguy Smilies: Most of the icons under the cartoon tag seem to come from here.

SKY's animation: Another Japanese site. These ones have a really unique style to them, so they're easy to spot. I found one under the dog tag, but there could be more.

Also, are there any requirements for the icons and buttons we can send? I'd like to donate some of my work, if that's okay!

This is a great site I'll add it to the credits - I actually didn't have a source for most of these; they are the remnants of the 150k gifs I pulled from a few huge gif collection sites like Paradise Gifs back in 2021 for the MoMG gallery; these were mostly excluded from MoMG for being too small and Iv wanted to put them on a site for ages!

The requirement is that they must be 32x32 or less and be cool

Also, I keyboard-navigated the site a little, and after the right-side buttons, there's an unseen full-screen button. However, when you press enter on it, it only displays the background without any foreground elements! I don't know if that's intentional, but it's a pretty cool screensaver!

I've also gotten a few crunchy little lost-source gifs like these from kevg's "minis" gif hoard. It's where I got the ghost.gif for one of my site's Easter eggs. I'm also partial to the 4everfriends button he has in his 88x31 hoard. There's gotta be other little treasure boxes out there, too! Just so long as the gifs have useful names & sizes.

Sounds like a maybe little side quest?

OK since people are discussing the 88x31 feature; I do wanna discuss that too because I have a CHALLENGE for forum members!

Currently I'v no way to pick what 88x31 badges it has; all it does is link ones that are on the site of a person called capstasher - their collection is big and pretty good - but it also doesn't fully match the aesthetic mood, it's also missing a lot of badges from people, and while badges are named, they are also not very well named. I would love it if people on the forum wanted to create a new badge collection project! (Or project for linking many self-hosted mini collections). I would be happy to help with code if needed, but I just don't have the time to do one myself so I'd need some people who'd wanna lead a project like that. Maybe if people are interested in working on that we could create a thread for it?

There is not and Im aware that makes the list VERY annoying I could maybe add a go faster button that appears if the print is taking a long time!

I found the big long JSON that has all the badges on it! That's a few thousand badges, just giving them useful names sounds like a crowdsource project by itself.   

Having collections of collections also sounds like a useful thing to have on the wiki. We already have collections there for MIDI directories & webgardens, and we could add a collection of collections of minis, a collection of collections of badges, a collection of collections of gifs, maybe even a collection of collections of entire site links. There could also be a collection of collections of collections, and another page to collect that!
