Do you have a favourite video game OST? Or maybe a few? Please share them with me !!! Personally, I love listening to video game OST's to relax, hype myself up, or focus! I find that the wide range of them means I'm never lacking, and so many of them offer me so much comfort and nostalgia. I'd love to hear the reasons behind your favourite OST(s)! Here are a few of mine. Yume Nikki is a childhood favourite game of mine. So much of a favourite that I even have a tattoo about it! It's so atmospheric and warm to me, and it cheers me up when I'm feeling bad. Ah... Another childhood favourite! It's so upbeat and funky and this one just makes me feel silly! While all of the Animal crossing soundtracks are nostalgic for me, New Leaf is my favourite because it's the game I played the most! Really helpful for when I'm reading! ... I wish Gracie Grace was in New Horizons...

There's some incredible video game music out there. I second Minecraft, Pizza Tower, Jet Set Radio, and Undertale, which have all been posted in this thread. They are some of my favourite OSTs as well. Minecraft's music in particular is iconic and has become greatly nostalgic for millions who played the game in the 2010s. Its soundtrack is simply beautiful, much of it is a type of ambience that instils a sense of encouraging curiosity in the listener, and often feels very comforting to listen to. I can't think of a more fitting choice of music for a game like Minecraft, I love every single track in the game. I have listened to some of C418's other works too; he is a very talented musician. To add to this thread, some of my favourite video game OSTs are from Spyro, Evil Twin: Cyprien's Chronicles, and a personal favourite of mine, Little Big Adventure 2: Twinsen's Odyssey. Spyro the Dragon OST - Toasty Evil Twin: Cyprien's Chronicles OST - Training Copains Twinsen's Odyssey OST - Theme 6

Katamari, easy! When I'm writing essays, I listen to this Katamari song on a loop till I finish. It works every time. I also really like the ACWW soundtrack, Stardew, & the Jet Set Radio OST. I used to listen to JSR at work till I got a new & very lame boss who doesn't let us wear headphones or play music... And the old Minecraft OST. It makes me so nostalgic, Undertale too. Oh and how could I forget the Persona 5 Royal soundtrack? Probably the best out of everything I've listed so far. I never play P5R with the audio off & its songs are in my daily playlist. I'm not sure I can even pick a favorite song off of the OST... Maybe Beneath the Mask? Or for a more energetic track, I like Rivers in the Desert & Last Surprise. These are just some of its vocal tracks. Its nonvocal tracks are incredible too. I haven't played a game with a soundtrack even close to this one. The tracks are all good on their own, but having them accompany your gameplay, especially during the game's battles is an experience in and of itself.
