I just finished Pedestal. It's an incredibly good mystery/investigation game with very interesting themes. While there was one specific thing about ending 3 that irritated me, I still really liked it. I really recommend it. Especially because it would be nice to have people to discuss it with, the game is pretty niche and recent so almost no-one has played it.

I'm playing the demo for Dark and Darker right now, it's a really cool dungeon crawler where you fight both against undead enemies and other teams. The setup works a bit like Tarkov and Hunt: Showdown, where you have to get to a portal to extract safely with your loot which you can then sell for money and use the money to gear up for the next game. It's really hard though :ozwomp:

So far this year, I’ve completed Sonic Frontiers, Sonic Forces and Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated, with all achievements unlocked.

All 3 are excellent games in my opinion, and were easy for me to platinum them.

I’ve just started Dead Rising 3 because me and a friend Co-Oped Dead Rising 2 and we plan to do 3, but first I need to do a singleplayer portion to unlock Co-Op, which I did, and I really enjoy what I played so far! Feels like they improved all of the problems Dead Rising 2 had!

I’m also slowly playing through Resident Evil 0 and Billy Hatcher & The Giant Egg. Neither game works on Proton, so I need to play them on Windows. Problem is, I rarely use Windows, but when I do, I make an effort to play a little from each game and progress in them a little.

Also downloading Spongebob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake on Linux as we speak (I’d use the disc, but that only works on Windows), so going to start that soon! Can’t wait!

I know this game is both controversial to some and overblown to others, but I can't make myself to put Cyberpunk 2077 down whenever I have time and opportunity to play.

I've beat the main campaign multiple times and these days I just come back to it…for the world? I also love to see what the modding community does with the game. So right now (or rather a few weeks back when I still had time to play) I installed multiple immersion mods (survival mod to eat/sleep/drink, a cyberpsychosis mod, a drinking-in-bars mod, etc etc) and just…it's a sumulator for me by this point. I'm living out the dream of being invincible and parkouring off of high buildings without fear. Among other things.

That being said I love the story and the characters also, it's just that at this point I've learned it by heart and am waiting for the DLC.

But it's literally the first time I've wanted to just exist in a game and come back to it with nothing much to do but roleplay.

Apparently CDPR scratched some itch I didn't know I had.
Oh my god, I’m not alone! I absolutely loved that game! I beat the campaign multiple times, with each role, and got every ending, even that secret one that’s difficult and tedious to get and beat!

I heard they’re making a sequel and I’m so hyped for it!

Been playing Minecraft, modded actually! All The Mods 8, which adds... well, a whole metric load of mods for minecraft. Really goddamn fun.
ALongside that I've been playing plenty of Ultrakill, been waiting for the up-and-coming update that adds a new secret level & a very very hard boss, so, been excited for that!

I've been playing the Demon's Souls remake since last Friday. It's so good. Bluepoint did an amazing job. It even looks a lot better than Elden Ring. I love From Software's games, but their art design has always outpaced their technical skills. All of their games look like they were made for the previous generation of consoles.

Bluepoint has outclassed them in every way. Between Demon's Souls and Shadow of the Colossus, they are really masters of the remake. They're definitely one of my favourite developer studios now.

I've been taking the past year or so to go back and play some older games that I never got around to and right now that involves both Deadly Premonition games. About halfway through the playing the first one, I went and ordered the second one because I was enjoying it so much. I think they're objectively pretty bad games, but they have so much heart it's endeared me to them.

So far the second one feels a bit lacking compared to the first but I've only just started.

I'm not exactly sure how to approach this because I tend to cycle through the same maybe.. 20 games that I've already played and/or finished over and over again (I don't get new ones very often), but the last one I actually obsessively played and finished for the first time was Silent Hill 1. I guess Mario Sunshine, too- I kind of just picked up from where I left off and managed to beat it after not playing for about a year.

The two (3D) games I usually like to pick up and play just to kill time or relax for an hour or two are Mario 64 and Animal Crossing (GC). I think I might check in on my Animal Crossing town tonight, actually.. that sounds nice.

As someone who just got a GC emulator, any tips for AC? I think I'm gonna start it tonight!

I totally recommend the Doubutsu no Mori e+ version with an english language patch - its the og game cube game but with a bunch of extra features! Also the HD texture mod is worth it - although you might like the fuzzy look without it too!

English lang patch: https://mega.nz/file/3i5m1Q5C#K1tVatIBhCtQ2d01npRx2-GuBconjGwJ72MjIWnsPuA

Important tips!
  • You cannot change your characters town or appearance once the game starts - your appearance is based on random questions the cat on the train asks you - SO if you don't like your look.. restart the game :omg:k:
  • There are cheat codes for this game that give you money and.. honestly you prob need them later on.
  • Sometimes when you talk to people they will just steal your stuff - so dont talk to someone if you have something important with you.
  • Make sure to get your KK song every Saturday night!
  • Talk to Sable every day in the tailor shop!
  • Check the dump every day - it has cool stuff in it!
  • Your shop can only get some upgrades if you have another player visit your town and buy something.

I wish you luck - say Hi to nook for me!!
