On the left I was having some fun with colored pencils on a paper grocery bag...and on the right I made some pink blobs with markers and drew various kirbies on them!

Oh, what a cute thread idea. I don't have much in my physical sketchbook (shamefully), but after flipping it back and forth randomly I did finally land on these Lyokas (she's my current main OC girl) from February!

Your art style is very cool! Reminds me of older comic books with the dramatic shadows.

Thank you! I don't usually do many blackout shadows like these, but I would really love to learn how to, so that was me kinda trying to practice. Glad to hear the effect was as intended <3

This is sosososo pretty!! Is this in pen?!? (sidenote the pidgeon off to the side made me laugh. They're pretty clearly not part of the larger image but I love how the little guy is just...hanging out sideways!)

Yes, I'm lefthanded so I always end up  drawing sideways on the right to avoid smudging stuff.

edited the contrast/brightness a little , but heres what i opened up to !

i was trying out some watercolors :O not the best at em but im not the best at traditional anywho X"D was fun anyways!!
