Chappell Roan - Rising Star?

So. If you're like me you might've heard the name Chappell Roan get tossed around recently
Weeks ago, her song Good Luck Babe showed up on my spotify and I fell in love
Her 2023 debut The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess has been making the rounds and I feel like she's really going places
She does amazing 80s inspired queercore pop --- way more gay pop than anything a certain ponytailed loser ever has or will do

It's just so magical to be there right when an artist is picking up steam. Look out for her, cause she is making a splash

Yes! I heard about her from a webcomic artist I follow and I love her album. She was on the NPR show Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me the other week for an interview, it was really interesting to listen to!

I personally don't like her image all that much, but i think that has to do more with my general distaste for celebrity culture lol. she's really taking off though! i saw her live last year and i bought tickets without ever having heard her name from more than one person.

whatever she's doing, she's definitely succeeding

My friend showed me her music just last week or so. Definitely not my thing, but I can for sure appreciate it. I listened to the song HOT TO GO! (is that what it's called?) and it was cute.
I think she's going places! All my LGBTQ friends (especially the younger teen lesbian crowd) seem to ADORE her.
