I squatted a username but haven't gotten to posting. I used to be on the OLD Sheezyart in 2005 as a tween, it's very sweet that a site I had a good experience on is getting a revival. (I should reinstall Postybirb if it's compatible with newer sites...)

I signed up for Sheezy a couple months ago, same username as everything else!

I was a bit overwhelmed by the customization options (so used to "sleek minimalist" options so there's a lot I wanna design for later once I'm done setting my site up. I also gotta reupload my art on there, I downloaded Postybirb but I'm not sure how to set up custom links on there so I'll wait on that and just manually upload everything.

I really like it so far! I think I might ditch deviantART and just post on Sheezy. I love seeing smaller alternative sites for art!

Was recently able to get my account in surprisingly. You can support the admins for the site to get access easily than trying to play wackamole with the registration slots though. I haven't heard of the original site since I heard a lot of DeviantArt more and honestly, modern dA is an AI swamp at this point so I don't consider that as a viable option anymore.

Under the same handle there as I am here on Sheezy as ookamij64. Stumbled upon this forum post on accident trying to figure out if there's a way to attach PostyBirb to my Sheezy account or if I'll have to do it manually for a bit. Either way, figured it's best to get myself out there more...

I LOVE Sheezy.art! I've been gently pushing all of my artist friends to start posting there. It's really like all the best parts of old DeviantART. I also love that is has lots of inclusive features, like a built-in pronoun feature, and some official documentation mentions that the personas feature could be used by plural folks! Love that it's ad-free and user-supported, and love, of course, the extensive customization!

I'm artsyazure on there -- same as all my other art accounts. I feel like a lot of folks really miss artist-focused websites (I've noticed a lot of folks getting back into Newgrounds for exactly this reason), and I really feel like Sheezy.art could be the next big one if it catches on more!

sometimes i was trying to fit into NSFW-dedicated places only to find out about just how poor moderation is.

sometimes there were other, more common problems, like "microblogging" format overall, unstable platform maintaining, concerns about AI, too unusable from mobile, etc.

having a website is liberating, and i see it as a home for my creations, but i'm not against social web! in fact, i love feedback and connection, and sometimes i just don't have an energy to code everything at once.

so far i have a few favorite places (outside of website): pillowfort and toyhouse. i feel like sheezy.art could become one of the favorites. will see!”

I'm more new to the whole posting art online thing I think I started posted stuff sometime in reddit subs when I was 13-14, but really didn't get into it until I was 16 so really the only site I had an account on, and posted on was deviantart, and sheezy so I'm not too sure about all the other art sites out there. With that being said sheezy is honestly a great site, and the user base at least in my time using the site had been really friendly one person even gave me some critque which is exciting!

The only down side is that it's pretty small right now, but honestly I don't mind it as much it makes the community feel more closer in my opinion

Definitely not into AI at all on their site to my knowledge and it seems like after the scraping of Artfol/PaperDemon/Itaku and several other art sites, they upped their anti-ai stance by adding it into the ToS/Usage Terms. Even had to add that line of the fact that I post mine here and elsewhere doesn't equal permissions to use it for machine training.

I don't blame you for feeling about that with Pixiv. I do use it every now and again for roaming and seeing what pieces to like. Even had the option to show AI output as off because not what I'm there for.

Sheezy seems cool so far, I hope it lasts! I miss a dedicated art site. I've always hated the big move of artists to twitter/instagram 
I'm VERY happy and excited that they're working on a favorites feature, that has always been my favorite part of art sites.

I tried cara for a bit but it feels tooo "industry standard"y for me. Also seems more geared toward phone posting. Let me make a password dagnabbit, I don't want to check my email every time I wanna log in, who do you think you are? My bank??

My gallery doesn't really have anything that isn't already on my website, but I so dearly miss a proper art site since the height of DA. (not that I'm expecting sheezy to reach that level, but I'm into the prospects of it becoming a nice little community)

I haven't spent much time on it yet and I don't have an account, but it looks cool! Like others have said, it reminds me of DeviantArt before the AI slopocalypse. I really like how they accept SWFs and I wish more sites would because Ruffle is quite mature at this point and no other technology has risen to fill the void between static audiovisual media and full-blown native or HTML5 games. The only other sites I've found so far that still let you upload SWFs are sketchy -chan boards, so this is nice to see. I might join someday if I end up really getting back into Flash.

Yyaaayy!! I’m so happy to see that there’s other fellow Sheezy users on here too!! I joined Sheezy.art almost a year ago now (holy god, now that im realising that it’s scaring me a little lol) and it’s genuinely been one of the most fun experiences I’ve ever had being online in A LONG time. I really love the laid back vibe and the ability to take things at your own pace, as well as the endless customisation of profiles, I just always love going to see what other users profiles look like to see how they can express themselves. ^w^

Although I do love Sheezy it’s not perfect for sure, it can be very slow at times, I usually experience this in the evenings for me as I feel that’s when more users come online to post or browse. But otherwise I think it’s a wonderful site for people tired of how monotonous mainstream social media can be. My Sheezy is Twiggie! :3

I'm interested! What can you customize there? What are your favourite features there? Do you often find art related to your interests? Is the community outspoken? Do they have art tutorials like on Deviantart (I really liked those in the form of posts)? Do you have fun customizable things or inner jokes like the stamps or llamas?   

A lot of questions, sure, but I'd love it if someone using SheezyArt for a while would answer me with their personal impressions. Thanks in advance!
