A Swedish Love Story: Teenage love drama that depicts adults as poor, awkward, hopeless fools. Oscillates between great comedy and unnerving tragedy. 8/10.

Godzilla Minus One: A great story that covers trauma in a realistic fashion, while also having plenty of time for appreciating the power of Godzilla. CGI was a bit off in certain parts. 9/10

[Memory]

The 1986 movie; The Fly: Cronenberg's best movie, a wonderful remake of the original. Has some of the best body horror and existential dread.

Merry Christmas, Mister Lawrence: Antiwar-Drama featuring David Bowie. Surprisingly good, especially in the acting and music department. 9.5/10.

Paranoid Park. Skateboard-Thriller with dreamy VHS-segments; otherwise very natural. Damn good. 10/10.

I Saw the TV Glow (2024): Surreal, beautiful, and personal. A nostalgic nightmare about the horrors of self-repression. 10/10

Jonas Mekas - Walden: Highly aesthetic experimental hand camera documentation about early US counterculture. Breathtaking. 10/10.

Captain America brave new world sure was a movie that happened. Sure was a movie.

Digimon Hurricane Touchdown: Arguably obtuse and hard to follow, but also incredibly atmospheric movie about the destructive potential of nostalgia, and the sudden and traumatic loss of childhood. One of my favorite movies ever, it probably should be a 9/10 or 8/10 but my heart says 10/10 <3
