does the internet show up in your dreams?

sometimes ! n when it does , my dreams like to portray it as both online n offline for some reason
so for example, i could be talking in a server but my dream will also have the people n i sitting in a room together for some reason? but its one of those things where u know its one way but it shows a different thing, yknow?

Not really. I've only ever seen a computer in a dream once as far as I can remember, and my dreams don't even seem to contain any cellphones either, not even flip phones or anything like that (except for 1 dream that I had back in August 2021 where I was at school and found a time machine there that could take me back to 2008, and even then, it was more of a background object if anything).

My dreams are almost always based on going out and doing things in the real world (including maybe watching a little bit of television, as those sometimes show up in my dreams even if they're just in the background) and always have been.

I've had dreams about chatting on Discord with people, in real servers with real users showing up... always confusing when I wake up to sort out whether those conversations actually happened or not lol.

I had a dream two months ago about a man who posted a comic on Instagram called "visuallydistinctsisters" ran by a black trans man. It was a comic about two sisters who were born without any limbs. ever since he started taking testosterone, he stopped celebrating his birthday and started celebrating his 'starday', the day he first took testosterone.

In the dream, I read a few of the comics and saw the ways people commented and asked him questions. Nearly daily, he got the question how he was drawing the comic if he didn't have any limbs. In response, he would show off a video of him moving his (fully intact) arms and legs around-- the comic wasn't autobiographical like people tended to assume. Then, after he did that people would get mad at him for using disabled people for profit, though other people would comment instead that they thought he wrote really good disability representation.

my mind essentially made up a bunch of non-existent drama surrounding an Instagram account that doesn't exist either. which I think is beautiful.

Everytime i dream i'm using a computer, it's always a REALLY old computer (those white ones) with a crappy old OS. I don't remember much about the internet there, but it does feel like the old web. It's always glitching and crashing, and it won't turn off when I try. Those kind of dreams always makes me feel very uneasy, and they happen since I was a kid for some reason

Last time I had one of these dreams (this week) I was playing a game that really resembled something between undertale and space funeral. It had that corrupted vibe with some weird and chaotic graphics. It was terrifying for some reason and everytime I tried to close the game, it just opened more and more windows of it aaaaaaaaaaah I hated it

PS: Space funeral is a great game, but the graphics make me feel uneasy in real life too lol

I once dreamed that I was chatting on IRC when suddenly a lightning fell on my laptop and everything went dark and when I could see again I had somehow become ChanServ.

My dreams are always weird, another time I was playing KSP when I entered inside the game, I then went towards the swimming pool in the administration  building of the KSC and then I teleported again to my house in the swimming pool and mom was wearing dad's boxers, dad was wearing my swimsuit and I was wearing mom's bikini -- don't ask

Not at all, actually, which is odd considering it's essentially my only form of human connection. Not only that, but I'm young enough not to have known a time without widespread Internet access. That said, though, my memory is terrible and I don't typically remember dreams that aren't recurring. So maybe?

A lot of my dreams have video games in them, especially Roblox and Minecraft because both of those have like always been in my life.
But most of the internet I see appears whilst I’m trying to go to sleep or almost asleep. It’s mostly tumblr posts or whatever video game I'm playing the most at the time (minesweeper, Celeste, project rusher). Theres also a lot of people from the internet like YouTubers and such (especially TangoTek and RenTheDog for some reason).

I'm not sure? I can't really remember if any of my dreams DO have the internet in them. Though to be fair, I don't really remember many of my dreams anyways lol :P

i can see a lot of internet memes and culture appearing in my dreams sometimes and also my friends but i can never see their appearances. I also remember dreaming once as a kid that i got trapped in the computer world and that made me pretty scared at the time lol

I can't recall any dream that's like, tech related.
I rarely remember my dreams though, so there's a chance I've dreamt about the internet many times and I just don't remember.

My dreams are (that i know of) usually about IRL situations with people and stuff. They tend to be very abstract sometimes.
The dream that I can most vividly remember (although I only had it once) was just me, laying down naked on a grass field and I could feel the wind and the grass on my back.

I just had an internet dream last night. I was just visiting some independent site that seemed very familiar, and very meaningful somehow. I was reading an update, and it said that Robin Williams (referred to as "Peter") was banned for some reason. Then, there was a censored part of the news that listed all the people that contributed to the site during a certain period, and I was on the list. Then, it was no longer a website, but words written on a small rug.

For some reason, whenever I dream up a fictional website or game, it always feels very meaningful for some reason.

not really, i do not remember my dreams well  !! i do remember this one dream that i had when i was a kid, i was on roblox and hacked into some famous youtuber's account and stole all their robux  (that was a little weird, but i was a jealous kid lol)
