ok this is gonna seem weird but there was issue I had on logging on the forum. I would log on right password and anything, only to be logged off again?.

Iv been doing a lot of server maintenance, so that might have caused an issue! - Also make sure you are on forum.melonland.net and not melonking.net!! Also also the login system uses cookies to recognise who you are, so if cookies are somehow disabled it will forget you!

I'm having an issue where I can't actually use the little profile setting dropdowns in Firefox!! :^O It displays the dropdown when I hover over the options like Modify Profile, but it disappears as soon as I try to select one! Although weirdly enough it DOES work sometimes, but 8 times out of 10 it is impossible.

I'm using Firefox btw, it works just fine on Chromium browsers tho.

Im not able to replicate this on my computer, BUT the profile page has issues and I need to fix them Thank you for reporting this and I'll keep an eye on those dropdowns to see if anythings up!

You can use that tag on a raw URL without the = alias function, that's why it's that way. Like this:

Hm, but isn't this already being done automatically? What's the use case for it? Every URL already becomes a clickable hyperlink even without manual insertion of the 'url' tag.

I think that that it's automatically converted is a newer thing or a plugin, while the URL tag is the legacy default.

Not much of a bug but surely needs to be looked into. Empty extra spaces at the end of a message should be automatically collapsed. Sometimes it accidentally happens as a result of my many edits while writing my message, and I did not understand why some of my posts looked slightly off!

I did a quick hacky fix! (Only on the main ML theme) Lemmy know if it causes any new bugs

EDIT 2: Empty spaces still visible when viewing Recent Posts and Own Posts.
