I found another!

When a ghost appears on the shoutbox/chatbox, the poor thing appears inside it, and its head gets cut off by the i-frame I didn't know what I was looking at in the first place! I'm on a desktop computer if that helps anything.

I keep getting this error whenever I edit something in account settings (i.e. my username) and input my current password that tells me "The password you entered was not correct.", even though I have used the same password since I created my account here. I can login just fine with the same password, but for some reason, updating account settings just treats it like a different password.

As I mentioned previously, I haven't changed my password since joining this forum, but because of the bug, I can't even change it anyway.

Edit: I managed to reset my password by logging out and selecting "Forgot Password", but inputting the new password still wouldn't work.

I'm not able to replicate this myself and no one else has dropped by to report the same issue. On top of that I cant find any errors in the server logs and I don't think any code has been changed relating to accounts All of this would make me think its something related to your computer (at least it would be worth trying to rule that out before looking into it more) - could you try doing a profile update on another browser (or even better another computer) with all extensions disabled. If it works there then we'll know it's a browser issue, if it does not work there then it's prob a server issue!

The only other browser I have installed is Pale Moon. I tried updating my username there, but I'm still running into the same issue. I don't have any extensions installed in Pale Moon since I don't use it often.


I mainly use FireFox browsers, so idk if the issue applies to Chrome/other Chromium browsers too.

So unless its somehow specific to your computer (but not the browser) then its prob server related I don't have enough info to go on though, so we'll have to wait and see if anyone runs into this, then maybe I'll be able to narrow things down. In the meantime I updated your username myself ^^

Ooo I've been tracking the clear bug for weeks with no real progress, but this is a great observation and I think you're right! If you can catch any errors in your browser console during a clear that would be a big help (its possible there is no error)

Found a kinda funny one, if you cancel out of the popup that appears when you try to post a message that is too short, the textbox is set to readonly! so you cant make it longer :(

Seemed to be a Firefox only bug! Took a while to figure it out but it should be fixed now!

Thanks for the report! This should now be fixed!! I always forget to add new boards to the announcement list
