So yeah: I'm pretty confident it's broken!

Fixed! It was actually a Forum bug (and entirely my fault). The proxy returns a 403 when new images that have never been proxied before are being requested from a non ML domain. I was messing with forum headers, and apparently I stopped the forum from sending its referrer to the proxy, so the proxy had no idea who the forum was, and so it started rejecting any new forum images coming into the proxy   Thanks for the report!

Some HTML tags (maybe just em) are parsed in posts, and also using an ampersand to write tags that won't be parsed (<em>) doesn't work.

The issue is more that typing one of those basic tags outside of a preformatted code block with HTML entities (ampersand name semicolon, <) doesn't seem to work. So it's harder to reference these elements by their tags.

I've added custom CSS to my profile for default Melonland theme. It shows up fine, but if I tick the option "Use sidebar menus instead of dropdown menus when possible" in Look and layout all my customization disappears, even though the CSS is still there. I do want to use sidebars

It's not a forum bug I think, you're CSS is just not correct, at a glance I don't think #admin_content should be in your selector path, if I edit that out in my inspector the style starts working

hello i am here to report a bug with images on the everyone site! a nature camp member recently tried to add a button to our guild page, but it's not displaying. everything looks like it's formatted properly on the pad editor side, so i inspected the code on the public view of the page. most images are going through your image proxy system, but this one is getting messed up for reasons unknown to me.



i tried replacing it with another image source (from another neocities site) and the same thing happens. i also tried putting the same image on another everyone site page, and got the same result.

After creating an artifact, you're redirected to a new page about that artifact - e.g. https://forum.melonland.net/index.php?action=artifact;view=1234... but that page is "under construction". Previously you were redirected to the profile upon which that artifact appeared, I think.

Hello, user tagging (@) doesnt properly link to user profile in the Artist's Comments section when using Edit Details even tough it displays the little drop-down thing!

User-side fix at this time is to write your text with tag in the comment section before anyone else comments, which will replace whatever was in Artist's Comments section with a @ tag that is functional.
