I don't think I'm able to replicate this either, it sounds like it might just be an issue in your browser, so it may go away with future updates! Or it could get a lot worse.. but we will deal with that if it happens

EDIT: Alright I managed to accurately replicate this. Go to your profile, then to another profile, then press the "back" button on your browser. The profile appears slightly broken and it is fixed only with a refresh. It happens with every other profile. It also happen only when you are online with your user.

When using CTRL+Z to undo inserting BBCode while writing a reply, it erases the entire text, not just the BBCode you inserted. It should probably just undo the last action.

This only happens if you use the buttons to apply a BBCode tag on a piece of selected text (e.g. selecting something, clicking the Bold button to encase it in b tags, and then pressing CTRL+Z.)

Iv noticed this too; it only happens in BBCode mode - its actually not a bug from what I can see (at least not one with the forum) you can see the same behaviour on the official demonstration of the editor the forum uses here: https://www.sceditor.com

The best thing we can do is submit a bug report on their github and hope for the best! (Your welcome to do that, otherwise Ill get to it at some point!)

I’ve noticed that videos on iOS are above where they should be, and go over text and even other posts.


It’s possible to refresh it so that they are where they should be, but I’ve not found a consistent pattern yet.

What browser are you using here; Iv seen this happen in Safari, but since safari is literally the Internet Explorer of the 2020s I prob wont fix it; but if its happening in other browsers that's more of an issue!

Cobra does it happen by any chance when you click on another link then use the back button on your browser to return to the thread?

@Cobra! I will tentatively say that this issue has been patched if you clear your cache now! From what I can see it was caused by having quick reply disabled by default - the quick reply box would open then rapidly snap closed as the page loaded, but the videos would stay aligned to the page as if it was still open - Iv redesigned the code a little to avoid this

Okay, this is uh.. kind of serious. I've noticed that if I type a direct message to somebody, leave it before sending, and try to type and send a new message directly to anybody else, it sends the abandoned message instead.

Can I confirm what you mean here - Your saying you wrote a message; didn't send it; then went to write a new message; erased the old saved message text; wrote a new message; but it sent the old saved message text instead??

(It is supposed to save your message text in the editor but this is only saved in your browser, not on the forum)

Partly. It doesn't actually show me the text that has been saved when I start a new message, unfortunately. It also did this when I was in the middle of writing a message in a separate window that wasn't even abandoned yet

This sounds extremely complicated to fix Iv disabled auto saving of private messages for now~ that should avoid it! Thanks for the report!
