Hello Melonland! I am Aletheos _{or Sebastian is fine too} and I am drawn to your lands by the promises of revenge against Web3, the dastardly devil who killed my father! _{Not really, my father is actually doing quite well.} I'm a tired ol' furry _{the usual, red fox}. Cis(he/him), but flying the in solidarity._{Sure you are... why don't you have this nice 🥚 for your breakfast.}

I like modding, and mapping for, GZDoom and DSDA-Doom. I've started many a project, but finished only a precious few. In later years I've come to realize I'm not very good on my own, I need a team or a cause to motivate me.
Recently, I've started making a website on neocities —then I also noticed the rooms here on Melonland, and they've been great fun playing around with— and spurred on by the spirit of Ted Nelson, I plan for it to be an interconnected and living campaign notes for a Shadowrun 5e game I'm currently running. _{Most of the functionality I'm looking for I could've probably found on roll20, but I'd likely have to pay for it...} For now, the site remains a sandbox for me to learn HTML/CSS with nothing in the way of interesting content for you to engage with.

An educated game developer, literally went into vocational training for it _{C++/C# Windows PC/Playstation 4} though I have never been employed as such. Is that a reflection of the industry or a personal failing to sell myself under capitalism, who's to say...

hello! _{introductions might just be the bane of my existence, but here we are...}

am proxy (many other names also apply, any pronouns), very good at writing anything other than small paragraphs. i've been going through the slow process of rediscovering a lot of interests in the past couple years, and part of that brought me here. it's a little hard to say where my strongest interests really lie, but i guess mixed media projects? Homestuck was a formative experience, and games in general appeal to my need to work on several different types of art at the same time for a coherent end result (or incoherent, which happens sometimes).

i used to be active on a couple small forums back during high school, but since i'm basically recovering from being an internet shut-in, it's mostly a fresh start in using them! i am so rusty!

my favorite HTML tag is the <ruby> set - i really enjoy being able to stack words for literary effect, and i wish it was more accessible. _{(there's one place i know of where i can use it in posts, but only because it accepts most HTML tags in posts)} <a> is a very close second.
