When i first started my Graphic design course one of the first things my lecturer said was "First rule of Graphic Design, dont use comic sans" and everyone laughed. Yeah its a bit of a joke, its more about how culturally its not viewed as a proffesional level typeface and is associated with amatuerity.
What im saying is Comic sans is the cutural antagonist to capitalism

Thought of this thread when reading a post from itsnicethat today regarding comic-sans being the butt of the joke by designers.
After reading the post, I myself am dyslexic and honestly I find this somewhat to be an attempt at pandering and rather apolitical. I've never fallen to my knees and been like "If only this was written in comic sans!!" Sure dyslexic typefaces do help of course, but is comic sans really a saving grace? interested to hear what others have to say!
