Howdy hey!

I'm Cassidy/Cassie/Cass etc. She/They

Cool to see the whole web-revival as somebody who has always had a love of old web stuff! I would love to create my own site and stuff (I have one here but wow, HTML is more work than I thought). I am an English Education major who loves reading and writing and all that kinda stuff. Also a huge music nerd. Current obsessions are a whole buncha shoegaze and 80's goth rock/post punk bands.

I'd love to get to know more people (I love talking to people) and want to use more of the "small web" so please, people talk to me so I keep coming back to it and away from the large social media sites I kinda hate but am definitely addicted to!!

Hi Cassidy ! Glad to see you around on MelonLand forum !

Never heard about shoegaze but mostly because I'm stuck with SynthWave as a music genre. Goth/Punk/Grunge was my vibe for a handful of months around 2004/2005 but I listened to what I knew at the time.

Small web is a nice corner of the web but at this point it's not that small anynmore ! Between NekoWeb and NeoCities and you add up melonland, it(s a big thing ! We"re far from Twitter or Meta numbers but I sincerely believe we're not super super tiny !
