hello prospective friends - my name is parka, i am a recently unemployed american software dev and i just spent the past month rebuilding an engine with hand tools and a service manual after blowing a head gasket 1500 miles from home. things are bad! but it appears to have worked, so perhaps things are not that bad.

hello my name is parka and i am a novelty addict. i am addicted to noveltyhol. this place appears to be brimming with it and i intend to drink my fill. in my mid-thirties so while i have plenty of forum memories i just shot the gap of this picmix/geocities aesthetic, but i have grown to appreciate it.

i submit for your consideration this 600kb costas hummingbird, captured not four hours ago in this agreeably warm but desolate and largely non-pidgeon-bird-less desert prison. bird and wildlife photography is my primary hobby. i will soon break free and return to a place with birds and snow and honest to god deciduous trees. i am channeling this
