biggest a size pfp can be in this forum?

id like to have a nice profile picture but i dont want it to be compressed beyond recognition. whats the largest sized it can be on here?

I'd have to guess 128x128 because its divisible by 16 bits but the default profiles from the profile picker are 65x65, so maybe 129? I haven't tried out any other image sizes besides 65x65 because I don't know too much about this, looks like you figured it out anyways. Speaking of which, whats the size of your pfp? mine is crushed beyond recognition at 65x65

bit of a necropost here but a little poking around leads me to believe that the max size is 250x250, anything over that will be automatically resized down to that. avatars show up next to posts on the default theme as 80x80 however
