Mantra of the web revival; Cringe Culture is Dead, Everything is Cool Now!

Screw Cringe Culture. If fetish porn and repetitive unfunny memes are considered acceptable, why can't fun video edit music videos be? There's nothing I consider more "cringeworthy" than the cringers themselves. I will say, I haven't exactly seen anyone call them "cringe". The percentage of full AMVs compared to short edits has just dropped, and to me it seems like it's harder to find full AMVs to some titles than it used to be, while the shorts are galore. That being said, they are still out there and I treasure every good one.
I've seen it treated along the lines of cringe, mainly like in YouTube comments and stuff like that. It seems like anything that's no longer hip is automatically cringe, at least to some people. I do wonder why it's dropped though, I'm guessing it's along the lines of copyright striking and YouTube becoming a shittier platform as the years progressed, losing a lot of the community aspect it once had. or maybe kids these days are just interested in other things for some reason. I wouldn't know.
