Here's one to all the deceased, abandoned, or forgotten virtual pets, and all the playthings that, through the magic of play, give us experiences, feed our imagination, or teach us how to live with ourselves, even when we inevitably leave them behind.

For their lives might be artificial, but may all these things that come with interacting with them be real thanks to them.
