hello folks!
  my name is cacoreco, but you can call me caco  . im a brazilian artist, writer and developer, that recently became very very interested in the smallweb . eventually, after exploring a bit of neocities, i made my way into the melonland forum! 
the very concept of a webforum really speaks to me. its just so different from social media. it feels like an alternate reality, much like how i used to feel about the internet as a whole in the past. im hoping to move a bit away from the algorithmic hellscape that is social media    and spend a lot more time here, reading, writing, and creating cool discussions. 
  im hoping to meet some cool new people here and make new friends! i have an "about me" section on my profile, and i also have my own webpage, if you'd like to know a bit more about me  aside from my creative hobbies, i really like videogames and music. looking foward to meeting you all!

A lot of people came here to break from big social media stuff. Personally I enjoy the "slow" discussions more than everything else. People can't spam shitposting or just pollute stuff by spamming memes or making one-sentence talking that eats up so many lines.

I see you have a Kasane Teto profile picture ! And if my memory is correct a gif from "Teto Territory" video. I don't know Vocaloid much beside Kasane and Miku. The latter often gets used in some synthwave songs I like. What is your favorite Kasane Teto song ? And why is it your favorite ?

i can certainly relate to enjoying the long posts and more thoughtful discussions from here that usually cant be found on big social media. as you said, the dozens of shitposts and reposts that fries your brain  (thankfully) cant be found here either!

also, im so glad u know about teto! u are absolutely right, the gif is from the teto territory video. currently, my favorite kasane teto song is "machine love" by jamie paige. its a very cute and beautifully composed song thats a homage to kasane teto! i've liked teto ever since i first found out about vocaloid, back when i was still a kid, so listening to a song that gives her so much love is really nice i also really like fukkireta, the first teto song i ever heard!

i see that u enjoy synthwave as well? i was very interested in the genre a while ago, but recently i havent really kept touch with it. do u have any songs recommendations?  would love to listen to it! oh, and thanks for the gift, i loved it!
