i don't use either, but i do have UTAU on my computer. it doesn't run thoughh - the most i've gotten for it to run is with some mojibake and it just outputs silence. aah i need a 32-bit computer
...
these are just ideas for now. sorry if this is in an inappropriate area, i thought to put it here as they're just simply ideas for me. i don't have VOCALOID EDITOR (of any generation) nor UTAU, and definitely not going for SynthV/OpenUTAU or even Piapro NT.

anyways
i already have some track ideas, like these two:

track name: Blasphemy!!!
voicebanks: Megpoid/Gumi and Megurine Luka
programs: VOCALOID 2
main instrument: electric guiar
genre: hard rock, doujin?
theme: melancholic, powerful (like From Y to Y)
inspirations: From Y to Y, Coward Mont Blanc, VOiCE, ODDS&ENDS
about: lying, gaslighting, but getting through it

and also
track name: Bad Reputation
voicebanks: Megurine Luka
programs: VOCALOID 2
main instrument: some electric guitar, and piano
genre: hard rock, mixed with something else? my mind's blank as of writing this...
theme: looking back, then constantly looking forward, but struggling to stay forward
inspirations: Lie, ODDS&ENDS, No Logic, glow
about: having a bad (or mixed) reputation historically

and also, my own voicebank idea. i know this is a lot for one post, but i thought they were kinda related at least?
name: Cynderloid
gender: female
height: 173cm
age: 19yo
hair colour: light red. with a teal(ish) streak
outfit: mostly a wide-collar black t-shirt with white t-shirt straps. she also has a long rain jacket.
voice: mine, or someone else's voice. i need to voice train, though.
program: UTAU

these are just some of my ideas for some VOCALOID/UTAU stuff, but i don't want to hit into the mainstream, really.
note: if you want to use these ideas to make something, ask me first. don't just steal it willy-nilly.

I made a UTAU bank not too long ago that I need to use more. Also Have SynthesizerV on my laptop as well. some pretty cool stuff tbh. helpful because, as much as I'd like to sing my own songs, I don't often have the time alone to do so if Im being completely honest. :P

UTAU can run on most computers... As long as the language settings are right. Bits don't matter, I've run it on x32 and x64 computers, both without problems. Check out this guide to fix the mojibake! - https://utau.us/install.html

If that doesn't work, OpenUTAU is more user friendly anyways. Better track management, easier to change track settings, tuning is... different, but arguably easier. I'd recommend having both installed, since they each have strengths and weaknesses. (UTAU is in my opinion better for building voice banks, and OpenUTAU for making covers.)

I love UTAU so much, I'll proselytize it and yap any time I'm given the chance ;; (I'm actually insane about it)
