oop! second post on the forum for me :seal:

and this time, its about something im passionate (or excited) about,

preserving media!

(music, more specifically)

As someone who listens to albums and music (both current and old), i find myself always trying to get the most original and authentic file for it.

and i think that in ever-moving pace of the web, id like to have my MP3s stored safely on my phone and my laptop to assure myself ill have a way of always playing my tunes!!  :cheerR:

not sure if im just a bit... picky about it, though. i just just find it more convenient than streaming on some app/website that could risk my precious media of getting lost! gee whiz!  :ohdear:  but id like to hear your words on preserving music! whats the site you download music from if you do? why do you choose to? convenience, its easier for you, other reasons  :omg: !?

Although i mainly use streaming services to listen to music that's more known/has less chances to disappear, soulseek has been my one-true-love when it comes to downloading and archiving more obscure music; i actively seek out unknown and older artists (especially on youtube, there i have found some of my favorite songs ever), but there's always that little fear that they won't stay there forever, i have already gone through it and it sucks!  :ohdear:
i love the concept of p2p services in general, it's a great way to preserve not only music in a more friendly and connected way i believe!!
