Hey! It's been a long time since I've logged into Melonland.
I sort of assumed probably no one would want to do this, since I've asked around a few places and very few people responded at all let alone actually submitted something, so I kinda forgot about this thread.
One person did submit something though. Here's that post if you're interested
https://goeshard.org/2025/05/20/snow-deformation/Now I'll try to respond to everyone.
Sorry to be an ignoramus, but what is an E/N site? Thank you!
In the early 2000s, from about 1999-2002 or so, there was a genre of website called an "Everything/Nothing" website. Today we would just call them blogs but this word didn't really exist back then. When someone refers to an E/N site, they are referring to the specific culture of blogs in the very early 2000s. It was a site with written content where a staff of writers usually tried to have daily posts. The posts could be about anything and random edgy humor was the most common denominator among them, which is what set them apart from other sites at the time.
Something Awful, Stile Project, Fark, Zug, and tons more that no one will remember because they were never popular outside their circles in the first place.
By today's standards these sites could be considered very edgy. They could go from, "Let's have a look at the Pumpkins I made for Halloween" to "I found this disgusting crime scene photos and anarchist cookbooks, let's have a look!" Really nothing was off the table. And while not every site participated in the same kind of edgy content, pretty much no one was above sharing traffic with such sites if it meant getting visitors to your page.
By 2006, E/N sites were not as popular anymore (except for the most popular ones that managed to make money) because most people who used to run them had moved on to things like LiveJournal or MySpace. And I would say the term "E/N" died off well before that.
As for my genre...*sheepishly looks at the currently open ModPlug window*
Is that to say that you would want to do music? Music is a great topic and it matches the "goeshard" brand pretty well. I should really write more music posts than I do.
I'd maybe be intersted if this is still open? Maybe?
It is open. There's no time limit on this, as long as the site is up I will take submissions.
Hi! I would love to be a part of this!
I know alot about the following subjects: Rayman the animated series lost media, Raves, Kandi and old web stuff! I think those could be fun to write about and to host on a another site! Plus i also know lots on some kandi making things, like stiches and what not!
Kandi? Is that like the stuff that ravers dress up with? Sorry I'm ignorant.
No subject (okay almost no subject) is off the table, but my favorite would be something lost media related. But ultimately, whatever you're the most motivated to write something good on is probably the best subject.

My DMs are open if you want to submit something privately. Or here is fine too.
Partial submissions are okay, too, like if you want to check how I feel about what you're doing before investing a lot of time into it.
Thanks to everyone for the interest and sorry for taking so long to get back to you all.
