Thinking of making a visual novel

hii there  first post on here i think?
 not really a project yet but ive been thinking about making a visual novel, i was gonna juzt wait till the idea gets outta my head but it just cant leave >.< !! so yeah idea dump i guess
tbh if i am gonna make it i thought it would be after i finish translating my fave vn into my native language, but i sorta forgot about it and havent opened up the file in monthss so idk

anyway my idea was a sorta comedy bisexual dating sim that takes place in a mental hospital (sorta because ur probably gonna kys with your beloved in the end lmao)
i thought of 5 love interests, heres a short description of them 
- (female, sub) cute introverted anorexic
- (female, dom) crazy bitch with huge anger issues

but uhhh i think i might be shit at writing + no idea how to make vns i just know everyones using renpy ,, i can do art tho but i think its not enough -,-

DO IT! Doitdoitdoit!!!! You'll probably never feel prepared to start, that's just how it is with big creative projects. Just jump in and learn along the way! besides, something that raw and rough around the edges is always more interesting than polished and predictable.

Renpy is super easy to use, I have yet to find a better engine.

Seriously please make this, I wanna read it so bad.

Ren'Py is quite intuitive to learn once you actually get started; even I was able to pick up on it immediately having no prior programming experience and I've made two visual novels with it so far. Before embarking on a major project, maybe you can make a short linear story with it first just to get a hang of the UI and its language
