hello fellow gallery makers!  :wizard:

i'm currently stuck with my gallery CSS, and i'm kinda okay with it, but i would really like to make a captions for each image.

i created thid kind of CSS for my meme board gallery, annnd... it looks fine, i guess? but i would really like to create optimized version for my main art gallery.

i've heard of <figure> tag, but it's hard for me to implement in into my grid CSS for gallery (don't worry, it's SFW) without loosing a responsiveness. also yeah, it's required hover action to see the whole art, and i can keep it or change it if needed.

do you think it's possible to somehow change <img> tag to <figure> tag to save it? or should i change the whole CSS and make it from scratch?  :ohdear:

do you, perhaps, have any examples of such galleries (or maybe even yours)? i wouldn't blatantly steal the code, of course, but i would want to see how it works.  :transport:

update: i used <figure>, <figcaption>, flexbox and @media rule to modify my galleries!  :wizard:

you can see how it looks here, and see code too, but it's a mess lol. i will change the design just a little bit later, but for now i'm satisfied. even if it looks strange sometimes because of the different height of the art, i still love it. because it's scriptless!

anyway, gods bless figure and flexbox.  :transport:
