does anyone here have a neospring?

about it: platform for asking questions (without account included), but FOSS and with a lot of customization! (CSS or just colors)

if you use it, what can you say about it? do you like it?

I haven't used it since i never had retrospring for personal asks (had it for some events I was running at the time) and as I was a curiouscat user, then I switched to strawpage for asks, but it's nice to see someone continue what retrospring was at first! I hope it lasts even longer, since there hasn't been many nice ask platforms.

i always like websites like this, but they've existed in various formats for years and die very quickly. when i was a teenager we had formspring, then there was curiouscat, sarahah, ask.fm, retrospring and now this one. of course i'm signing up though

oh no... neospring is shutting down (August 4th) 

Neospring currently uses 3x the resources than Tetratto uses, while also having the least amount of features.

This amount of CPU usage leads to constant thermal throttling, which hurts Neospring and Tetratto greatly.

On top of this, both Neospring and Tetratto are maintained by 1 developer (me) and 2 VOLUNTEER moderators.

Neospring worked through donations only. The downside is only four people have ever donated.

sad to see it like this, but i understand the reasons.
