If you're asking about cursors on personal websites, I use multiple pngs for different pages and some javascript I found online for the motion effects.
If you're asking about in my day to day life, I just use one of the default cursors, Bibata Original Classic. I do have some fancier cursors downloaded, like one that looks like a sword called Katana, or this shiny Emerald Green one called "Chicago 95 Emerald Green." But I find that if I use a cursor that isn't preinstalled, certain flatpaks like Plex will have trouble detecting it and moving my cursor.

On my laptop, I tend to swap between this Gumi cursor by Wobb or this Wii hand cursor by fantaferret.

well, i'm using this ADORABLE kagamine rin cursor set. i want to give a shout-out to the frutiger aero archive for bringing this cursor set to my attention, and also for getting me back on RW designer after nearly a decade of not using it. boy, have i missed browsing the cursor and icon sets of their users

on my website, the pointer becomes this cursor i drew myself. that character is my OC, Aisling. i knew i just had to make a fun cursor for the site to make it that much more "rnotté"

i made myself some custom ones of the pixls from super paper mario (and one othe sprite from the game but its mainly the pixls on show for it.

i haven't finished it, only have a 4 pixls done and 1 other item from the game, bit i'm proud of my work so far

For my whole life I have used the default cursors and didn't think about there being options. But, I am trying to customize more things in my life. So now I am using these absolutely adorable pixel cats: https://tarmuntpixel.itch.io/cat-cursors

i currently use the mizuki akiyama cursor from project sekai cursors !! (project sekai is one of my fav rhythm games ^_^)

and for my website, i use a kaoani cursor from cursors4u to match with my site theme

When i first got this computer i wanted to give it a mock-aero theme a la windows 7...but i couldnt find the right set of programs to make it work T_T at some point i downloaded the windows 7 cursor though. so thats just my cursor now. I should get a more fun one

coming back to say that now my cursor is green and its awesome. the inside of the shape is inverted colors too. really badass cursor it comes in different colors aswell.

i use this cursor from webfishing i found on steam! i don't really like complicated cursors, this one is simple and cute while not being the default :D
