Basic CSS help - aligning a link to the right side

So, I have a website over here and it has one problem that I can't figure out exactly how to fix it! For posts, I've adapted a theme someone recreated from a cool old website (the css is here) and I'm using the footer as part of posts to create a cool looking read more section!

However, I want this read more to be on the right of the box, instead of the left. It feels to me like it'd look better. But everything I've tried to get it set up hasn't worked! 

The attached image is a sloppy Paint edit to try and show how I want it to look, compared to the current website.

Any help would be appreciated! It feels like a basic thing but I'm so new to CSS and this has been a problem I'm not sure where to even look for the answer to anymore...

Change the footer CSS to this:

  font-size: 12px;
  text-align: right;
  margin-right: 10px;
}

I removed the max-width value (not sure why that was there in the first place), turned the margin left into a margin-right and aligned the text to the right side ^^
