Not as cool as anyone else's but here you go. It was removed decades ago but the shell remains


Here's a bunch of better ones I found at an old library. It looks like at least one is working too which is definitely a surprise.

Had to return to my (flooded-out) house this week to supervise the insurance company who're auditing all the furniture they're throwing out and (eventually) buying replacements for (tomorrow they're removing all the damaged floors!). My life's been pretty-much upside-down for a month and a bit now.

Aaanyway... in order to make my life feel more "normal" while I was working in the attic (which is still habitable, still has power, etc.) and the workmen were moving around downstairs... I decided to do something I used to take a "lunchtime cycle" in the Spring sun and eat my sandwich in the village square of the village two-over from me. In more-normal times, I'd often enjoy a "lunchtime cycle" on fair-weather days, and it felt good to enjoy a little normal-feeling in my topsy-turvy life.

Aaaand... I found a red phone box, with a red postbox buddy!

I tested the phone and it's still working!

Stopped my partner the other day to take some pics of these, with this thread in mind! We have quite a few  phoneboxes / payphones here in England, in various states of disrepair... These were both in Darlington and I walked past even more while wandering around town. The red phonebox has been repurposed to contain a defibrillator which is pretty cool.
