Side note I have a particular softspot for 1988-1994 tech, I think its my favorite era because its kinda modern yet still super simple and clunky.

Oh man! What I wouldn't give to experience an electronics shop from the 90s!

Not just the wide range of tech at the time, but the general aesthetic of shops at the time, and the promotional stuff. It felt like things had way more personality at the time.
