Any upcoming indie games you're hyped for?

With how hit and miss big devs have been for the recent forever bit of time, indies are always fun to look at. So...
Are there any indies you're hyped for that you would wanna share? Why are you interested in them?

I'm personally really hyped for FriendOS, it looks like a really fun/cute party game with an aesthetic I absolutely dig.

I really need to keep up with indie titles because I feel like most of the new AAA releases just aren't doing anything for me aside from like RE9, but that's because it's RE9 and I am legally obligated to be hyped for it.

Where are you all keeping up-to-date on indie games?

I'm really excited for Big Walk. It looks like it's got a lot of potential for cooperative fun, with the right friend group.

I am not much of a gamer, but I used to play the underrated Shadow Hearts series back when I had a PS2 and I'm hoping Penny Blood, a spiritual successor by the same devs, pushes through. It's an RPG with a unique alternate history setting moxed with fantasy/comedy-horror elements and a strange ensemble cast like the original games.

Unfortunately the game still doesn't have a publisher to fund it and has some bleak prospects. They have an associated spin-off game Penny Blood: Hellbound (more of a casual roguelike than a story-heavy RPG) and novels expanding on the world that I also enjoyed, and I hope the main game gets through the gutter.

Habromania!!! Admittedly I haven't played the demo yet, but I absolutely love the art style and gameplay based on the teasers. Plus, I love pretty much anything Wonderland related, so this game feels very much made for me.

i am also super excited for big walk! it looks like a lot of fun and i love how the characters look. and i'm also super excited for 500 caliber contractz, the art for that game is incredible.

another indie game that i really love but is already out and i don't see a lot of people talk about is vividlope. it feels very dreamcast/ frutiger aero? and it's so easy to just pick up and play

I am very excited about Traveling At Night by Weather Factory. Their games occupy a very special place in my heart. They are very well written, mysterious, really unapproachable by design when it comes to world building. Art is up my alley and overall fantastic experiences

Sucker for love: crush landing

I quite enjoyed the first two sucker for love games in the series (rewatching ManlyBadassHero's lets plays i especially like how the second one had more going on with the story than just "date girl to win") and ngl from what we're shown in the demo, this new one's gonna be a fun one too!! Hheileigh (i think that's how her name is spelled) seems like such a cute character, she's definitely beat ln'eta as my fave girl in the series and i'm interested to see how the game is going to tie itself in with the rest of the universe since the main gameplay loop doesn't seem to be based around rituals anymore (plus i just NEED to see how hheileigh and dude's relationship develops considering hheileigh is written as being child-like and i'm concerned that it's gonna be a "born sexy yesterday" type situation....also i'm lowkey hoping that in the final game they remove that one ending where it's implied dude SAs hheileigh in her meteorite form and dies)

As someone who watches MBH a lot, agreed! (though im probably just going to watch their letsplay, im not good with most horror games...) The story is definitely interesting and got me to laugh multiple times

My friend recommended me to play the Titanium Court demo recently and lord is that game really good. I'm really curious how the game is going to go...

Bobo bay, star garden and kilaflow are my main hypes at the moment. Two of them are chao garden likes (with star garden also being a kirby air ride like) and kilaflow is a fast paced platformer with a 2000s web type feel.

Bobo bay is almost ready to release, I think. Star garden and kilaflow both have demos on steam. I've played a ton of the star garden demo at this point.

I think I am most looking forward to Nutmeg that came out today. It seems right up my street. It is a Balatro esque game, surrounding football, but the aesthetic is very much like mid 90's football fandom. So will try and get it this weekend and play it.

i dont know if subnautica still counts as indie since they were bought out by krafton but since the devs are involved again im really excited for subnautica 2...!!! its been one of my fav games for a while now and im so hyped for more. especially with multiplayer!!

as for true indie, i'm looking forward to this game called outbound... i love interior design type stuff and getting to decorate an rv sounds like so much fun. (and without the actual expenses of buying and decorating a real rv LOL)

the steam release calendar has honestly been my favorite latest addition of theirs - getting to see what games are soon-to-release is really awesome, my wishlist has grown much faster and easier than ever before from everything they've advertised in it :D and a bunch of them are from smaller creators too!

Played the demo of "Titanium Court" some weeks ago, and since then I'm tuned to play it :). Both the aesthetics and the gameplay were really unique.

Another game I'm seriously tuned for is the sequel to "The Sea will claim everything" - apparently, it will come. The Sea Will Claim Everything is a absolutely lovely point and click - every single screen in this (and this thing is huge) has a soul.

Coming out in just a few weeks is Yunyun Syndrome?! Rhythm Psychosis, from the creator of Needy Streamer Overload. It's a rhythm and psychological horror game about a psychotic hikikomori girl who loves denpa songs. I'm really looking forward to seeing what else this creator has in store, especially in the realm of "severely mentally ill and online girls".

I'm also super looking forward to MINDWAVE, which doesn't have a release date yet, but does have a demo available! It's a microgame-frenzy game, like Warioware, but much more character-focused and story-driven. Super stylish in presentation, too!
