I have overhauled my entire website. Tried first to code it from scratch, realised I can't. Then I used sadgrl's layout maker to get the shape I wanted and worked from there.

I also made a button, but I feel I am missing something important with regards to font sizes on such a small space...

I quite liked this one, especially the stuff about "friends" in the online sense, it kind of spoke to me on a lot of the feelings I've had about how "socializing" can work online.

It reminds me of when I used Tumblr, and there was this kind of culture to it where you never really interacted directly with your "mutuals" and yet your mutual circle was basically your "friend group", wherein you kind of passively absorb their content and maybe left comments or tags on their post, but it was considered a faux pas to add it directly to the body of a post in a reblog, and looking back at that is kind of fascinating to me, and how there are some near strangers on forums and such who I've interacted with and talked to much more directly and in depth than people who I considered my "beloved mutuals" at the time. There were even running jokes about "your mutuals who you love and never talk to ever" throughout the site.

Sorry to go on a whole tangent there but it really is such an odd version of "friendship"!

Nothing to apologize for. I knew there were reasons Tumblr felt so weird to me when I tried to post on it instead of just surfing it with my wife when we wanted some porn. Now I have a reason why. Probably not the whole story, but it's more than I had before.

I migrated from neocities to nekoweb (not fully, the nc still exists as backup and redirect for the domain for now) and overhauled my website(s) and consolidated them into one. I've also finally used my reworked pixel art.
Not all pages work well on mobile yet, and the terminal can be a bit broken on iOS, but it should be okay for most.
It features an apng, an image map and later pages sometimes use JS, so keep that in mind if you want to check it out.

Added a new blog post to my neocities for the first time in exactly a year! I posted it more for myself than anyone else, but it feels good to just get thoughts out sometimes. I still need to figure out why the navigation bar images aren't loading properly for my blog posts, I think it has something to do with how my folders are set up  it's nice to actually start working on my site again after so long though!!

Lately I've been working a lot on my Adventures Chosen web site. The main idea is that I can use it to be a journal for my characters in role playing games I play with my friends. I also moved over a bunch of posts I used to keep in a BlogSpot blog I called "Uzis, Capes & Katanas", but decided I wanted to save on my Neocities site. Consolidation! My current game I'm playing in is Traveller, so I have a page for my guy's space travels, Bryson Tarn, and I can have a silly space background, images of the other characters, an animated picture of his home planet and all of that fun stuff.

If you wanna make your own planet, you should check out a cool tool I found, Pixel Planet Generator! You can change the colors, lighting, rotation and other stuff with your planet and even export it as an animated .gif.

I've rebuilt my site at starbreaker.org. The blog has a comments form now, there's a guestbook, and you can select one of several color schemes on my home page as well as setting the font size and (on desktops/laptops) page width. There is a slight delay when each page loads as it loads settings from local storage and applies them, though.
