Hi, Im sure lots of others can chime in but a few starters;

I have a site making guide here that also tries to explain some of the overall ideas of web revival sites: https://melonking.net/melon?z=/thoughts/lets-make
If you just wanna explore sites, the best way is to follow links on peoples links pages, you can also have a look at the neocities site list: https://neocities.org/browse
For retro sites something like The Old Web can be useful too, it has a bunch of links to difrent services https://theoldnet.com/#frombadge
And status.cafe is a great mini socal network that has a bunch of people who make old style sites as well https://status.cafe

Happy surfing :ha:
