i've had this song on repeat today and yesterday while looking at those old "when you see it you will shit brix" pictures on pinterest. something about the warm yet... tinny? sound of it is very nostalgic in the same way as space suit and see the constellation by TMBG and sheep go to heaven by cake. it's tough to define but these songs hit home in a really specific way.

also, stay home by american football is a newer discovery for me.

I didn't realize it until recently but KLF re-released their entire back catalog. They went through a couple of name changes and were known mostly for acid house and oversampling other people's work. Oh yes, they really did burn £1 million! A waste, it could have been used for something really useful, like giving it to me, but it was their own money.

What could be better than bombing around Wiltshire in a clapped-out Ford Galaxie running over Daleks? I'm glad they managed to hit the one being pulled by a bit of string rather than one with someone in it. As somene said "100% the most accurate Dalek ever built."

when i work on my site i always pop one of these bad boys - nobody's ambient playlists, of course ! nobody makes dark ambient as well as classical music playlists. one time autoplay made me listen to one of their playlists that is composed entirely of greek lute songs. not the one i'm about to link, but pretty nice.

Literally everything from sleep token. I just discovered them recently but fell into such a deep hole of lore and theories, i love when bands go that extra bit further and help build a universe, it helps that they are such a talented band that keeps making beautiful work.

They just released their new album Take me back to eden and it wrapped up a trilogy they have been working on since they began, with the final song ending by looping back to the first song from their first album. That song is called Euclid and i highly recommend giving it a listen!

They can do any genre which feels so fun to me.... Mini new obsession rant over lol
