I recently discovered Germany's LORD OF THE LOST, and the second track on their 2022 album Blood and Glitter is as brilliant as it is topical. It's called "Leave Your Hate in the Comments". The official video may be disturbing because it includes sample comments from their haters (with uncensored homophobic slurs).

I'm quite into SynthWave. As someone who played a lot of video games early in my life, Vidya + SynthWave is often a good combo. Lately I've been hooked on this rendition of "Kraid's Lair" by GLADSYS. And to me it's the kind of person who understood the idea. Kraid is an alien monster on an alien planet, the music should feel alien. GLADSYS did it perfectly.

Personally it's one of my fav silent hill ambient music videos on youtube. It's perfectly calm, sometimes eerie but still calm and nice. Been having it on as background music for weeks, and it helped me when writing too!
