Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds is my personal favorite iteration of that entire franchise. I remember religiously listening to my uncles cassette tape copy back in the '80s!

Sparks were one of the strangest bands. Really quirky both in style and lyrics. From "Kimono My House" (1974) this is "Here In Heaven" - a love promise.
