Does anybody know about "Doodle for Google"?

[Rubbereon]

I reckon everybody knows about Google's doodles, it's those minigames and other interactive contents they do on holidays and during events like for example there's the one where it's basically just pacman.

Every year, Google also holds a Doodle4Google contest where you can make your own doodle. Wikipedia has more info on the topic if you're curious.

For who knows why, Google still has the 2024 pdf submission form up, but they definitely don't take submissions anymore.
It looked like this.

It's so weird finding this again almost 3 years later, I feel like I shouldn't be seeing it. If you ask me how I found it, I was looking for something related from around the 2012 Olympics especially since for some reason it is the Olympics I remember most fondly, a ton of video games were directly inspired by them.

I miss when Google was fun.

Gosh a random memory just hit me of when I was in elementary school, I think either second or fourth grade, we had maybe our art teacher that visited and she had us make logo designs for Google doodle and wanted to submit them to have us see if we had a chance of winning too.

I remember we had a printed Google logo we were given and it was just the text of it and it had no color. We were encouraged to decorate it and if I remember correctly I made mine like the letters were part of a rock band lol.

We had random school sponsor visits once in awhile it was weird. The only other noticable sponsor visit I remembered was when someone was trying to promote the MySims game that was coming out and they had a full poster displayed for us and showed the demo too but the ad was hidden like a "How to help people." Type of lesson, I believe.
