who here has played moon river?

[flydayjams]

awhile ago, i came across this game called moon river on steam. it's free, and i'd wager around 2-3 hours of gameplay with a couple of secrets worth replaying for—but i was so enamored by the concept and excited to see another rpgmaker game hit the shelves! it ended up charming me endlessly with its unique design, characters, lore, and art direction. the game follows a typical "save the world by restoring something that was lost" storyline but it had such a unique and homely take on it that was not cliché at all.

beautiful graphics, shockingly wonderful soundtrack, and prescient characters with writing that stays with you long after completion. does anyone know any other rpgmaker games like this? it reminded me of OneShot (in terms of story and design direction) going in a more mature direction (not better but different, which i love)

(oops, looks like i posted this in the wrong area. someone let me know how i can move this to the games board! or if someone could move it for me that would be awesome...)
