Show me something you've created that you're genuinely proud of! I think it would be really interesting to see the cool things you create, or... more specifically, what you consider to be the coolest thing you’ve ever made. :)

The online "thing" I'm proudest of is probably Three Rings, a "made by volunteers, for volunteers" tool I first released in ~2002 to help charities organise their volunteers. After about 6 years I finally started getting other developers involved too, but the bones are all mine. Nowadays it helps tens of thousands of volunteers worldwide, and the organisations to whom they give their time.

But the problem is... unless you're a nonprofit, you probably don't get to see it "working", so it's a boring thing to show-and-tell!

FreeDeedPoll.org.uk might come second, then. It's not a complicated tool, but it helps with a genuine need that real people have, and I get lots of emails about it. Since ~2007 I've been running this site, which helps British citizens produce all of the legally-valid documentation they need, for free and without a solicitor, in order to change their name. In addition to directly helping many people changing their names for all kinds of reasons, the existence of this site (which is completely open-source so you can run it yourself, and also allows you to audit that I don't collect any personal information - everything runs in-browser!) has helped put pressure on predatory companies that claim to be make "official" deeds poll for a fee (there's no such thing as an "official" deed poll; none are more official than any other, but these companies use misleading advertising to trick people into paying for something they're entitled to for free). Now, thanks to my efforts, there are fewer of these companies, and many of those that remain also offer basic services cheaper or for free (as a loss-leader).

That's pretty boring and dry, unless you happen to live in the UK and want to change your name! (And even then, it's moderately boring and dry!) I've certainly done more-exciting things for the Web... but they're not ones that give me such a sense of pride, I guess?

My first thought was my CSS item filter (in use on this page), but then i opened the page to get an address to copy and remembered that there are some unfinished changes and got distracted writing CSS.

My second thought was Batman Chess, which i am quite proud of but which also needs updated because i think i remember being told that the rules don't mention the objective of the game, which is kind of important.

Ah the Batman chess didn't load for me! I don't know why :(

I really like both websites, it's easy to navigate, working fast. Wonderful work.

I've been having DNS issues. You could try finding it without the domain, or at the Neocities mirror.

It's just rules to a board game.
