I occasionally (like, a few times a month) read magazines, mostly New Scientist and sometimes NatGeo as my library has them. I sometimes collect physical magazines either to just have or to eventually past into a junk journal.

I'm curious as to what magazines other users of melonland might read.

The only magazine I read with any sense of regularity is the literary magazine Clarkesworld. I've been trying to make an effort to read its stories whenever I have some downtime and don't really want to do anything else to prevent doomscrolling or just staring at a wall for way too long. I'm curious about other magazines out there, and will be following this thread!

I was subscribed to the dutch anime/manga/japan magazine called Aniway. It had 4 editions every year, and i have a lot of them in my collection.

Sadly they did not survive the pandemic, and with the rise of printing cost. And the fact the youth did not read magazines anymore, they went bust in 2024.

Sad since i was a subscriber since 2016/2017.

Print magazines: I used to read The New Yorker but eventually stopped reading them. Nowadays, I read Preservation, National Parks, and other magazines like them when I get the chance. Maybe they ar in the library? I will haveto check.

Online magazines: Sometimes, I would remember about ELPiS and find out if they posted any new editions.
