Could we get a giggling/cackling emoji on these forums? All the smileys n frownys are nice but they don't convey my ROFLs if you will.. I just need one that's laughing 
I'll try and search the web to see if there's one that already fits the theme of emojis we have rn

Why not have a birthday feature like most forums? The more this community grows into a group of friends, the more this would be nice I think!

Many customistaion options, nice nice, but what about an option to disable all the customisation options?

I have a feeling that this might get out of hand. It's nice that you try out new things, but for the reading experience, a clean look would be more helpful. Some fonts aren't particularly well suited for being readable, too.

Like in Acmlmboard, another great forum software, see the attachments an example of kuribo64. The customisation options make reading on that forum less enjoyable. And people doing this nonsense of using terrible font colours on terrible unsteady backgrounds, why the heck.

So maybe have an option to ignore all designs and display everything on a standard background with the standard font?

I just wanted to say that we have hyperlink shortcuts, image shortcuts, and webgarden shortcuts in our posts/replies
but the youtube shortcut button is gone now, we used to have one if i recall?  bring back le youtube bbcode shortcut!!

I left that out because it was unnecessary! You can just post youtube links and they will automatically work

Small suggestion tho: a few more fonts.
https://github.com/Quiple/Galmuri <--- This is a font package inspired by the Nintendo DS fonts; licensed under OFL.
https://opendyslexic.org/ <--- Font designed to be more readable to dyslexic people (maybe if we can set a uniform style in the future we could have this for dyslexic people?)

if we add a dyslexic accessible font we should also have it be easily findable, maybe a toggle next to your activity rating? Just an idea

Hi!
As you can see I just joined but I had to make my first post here to beg of you: please, can we have a forum theme that is not light font on light background(Dreamy theme) or high contrast font on dark background(Purple Sky Theme)? Honestly even a white background + black font would do, I am just having such a hard time navigating I resorted to using a browser extension that allows me to use custom css on any site T_T

Those are good suggestions! Although I agree with @SilkSkull that the dyslexia font makes more sense as an override font than a stylistic choice font.

Welcome to the forum! I am actually working on a readability focused theme that will let people opt out of the more colourful forum features    However Id also suggest giving the main forum theme a go in its full force; many people who find it a shock are just used to modern minimal design; but they actually grow used to high contrast with a bit of exposure - that may or may not be true for everyone, but its certainly worth giving it a go for a little while
