This is actually the purpose of the most recent board "Site Resources" which was originally called the "Bazaar" but I felt that name was confusing at the time! So we already have this; its just badly named at the moment and needs a new name

Hey, not sure where to post this exactly, but I recently made a status.cafe account and my username does not entirely fit in the Forum Profile settings. Is it possible to lengthen the input by a bit?

The iMood field in the profile has a little status button. Could we get the same for status.cafe? There's a similar button at https‌://status.cafe/users/<username>/badge.png.

Perhaps we could add MS PGothic as a forum font? I've been doing a lot of textart and it's the font I've been using for it, plus it doesnt anti alias if you have it installed on your system. (Windows comes with it by default, but you can install it on Linux.) Some Neocities sites use it because of that, and it'd be nice to have a properly un-anti-aliased font.


I know you can find TTF versions of the font you can link with CSS, but that makes it use anti aliasing.

Though, I made this HTML document which uses that as a fallback if it's not installed on the system. But I don't know if you can do that for how this forum handles fonts. (Custom element maybe?)

Sure, but do you happen to know if there is a smaller version? That one you linked is 6mb (the largest font we have on the forum atm is only 300kb!)

Custom element maybe?

I can add a custom text art bbcode if that works, that would apply this foint and disable anti aliasing

I made a smaller version of that! Unfortunately, it's anti aliased and lacks a lot of the Chinese characters the original had. I had to slice all those out, though it's given me a newfound respect for Chinese and Japanese font designers! There was so many characters.

It works for what it is, though. Just make sure to have it default to the system's MS PGothic, before it falls back to my Fallback PGothic, like in the code snippet.

I've expressed it before and I believe you said its likely impossible, but I'll just note here for the record that it would be wonderful if it were possible to implement something like the cohost ".beat time" switch that changes only timestamps to display in internet time. The more places I use that adopt it the better!
