I hope this little bit of necroing is fine! It would be great if one could also use one of those alternative protocols as their homepage link. Currently if I try to do that it just gets silently dropped.

This prob wont happen, the homepage link is essentially the SurfClub and its heavily integrated into HTTP based checks and subsystems across the forum such as the Guilds webring system.

You're much better off putting those links in your signature for people who understand what they are and can make use of them ^^

Makes sense ^ ^ I didn't realise the things were so tightly intertwined. Well, I guess I'll put my main homepage in my signature and I'll keep the "homepage" link for when I finally decide to bother neocities with my presence XD

apologies if this has already been suggested, but a way to add specific content warnings to art would be nice! the "mature" thing is great but it doesn't necessarily allow anyone to warn for specific things before a viewer continues forward, and it might make things a little easier for people with triggers that dont necessarily fall under the mature category, like people with photosensitivities

It might be nice to have the time of messages in the Shoutbox ([Saturday @680.89]) display in a fixed-width font, so the starts of people's names line up. I only just noticed the slight differences in numeral width make some time stamps a few pixels wider or narrower than others.

It would be nice if the ftp server had a way to set up ssh keys for it? Since theres seemingly no way to save a plaintext password for the commandline sftp tool

ohhh you should add the ability to change your display name and i REALLY REALLY REALLY want a little number at the top of the artifact page that says how many you have, so i don't have to count them each time
