Retro wallpaper thread!

Post any wallpaper you want! Anime? Games? Whatever! As long as it has that classic over the top 2000s “edgy aesthetic” wallpaper feel it belongs here!

i've actually collected a bunch of 90s and 2000s vaio wallpapers that i've found around the web on my website here: http://www.cyberdragon.digital/tech/vaiowallpapers/

they're not really that edgy 2000s aesthetic you're looking for, but they're at least some kind of 2000s aesthetic! plus they look great when used on an actual vaio that's running windows xp:

That’s sick! If i had a vaio I would definetly use these.

Someone remade all of the classic 90s MacOS wallpapers in 5k here https://512pixels.net/projects/mac-os-9-5k-wallpapers/ I was using a bunch for them for a while!

yo that's awesome, thanks for sharing! Heavy Petal 4 was my primary wallpaper for the longest time, so it's cool to see it again in such a high resolution.

I had this old CD with a bunch of cool wallpapers, and I noticed that a bunch of them have a "DigitalBlasphemy" watermark. So I ended up searching that online, and check these gems out:
https://digitalblasphemy.com/product-tag/1997/

This is their 1st gallery but they've actually been making wallpapers every year from 1997 until today! You can go browse wallpapers by-year and see all the other galleries as well...

This brings me so much nostalgia, not gonna lie...

There was a time when, thanks to the Apophysis program, fractal wallpapers became popular. Here are a few I have.

I found this last week and I reckon it looks pretty nice if you want a retro wallpaper.

This one's not really a desktop wallpaper, but I can imagine that if you turn it into a repeating pattern it could make for a decent retro wallpaper.
