How did you come up with your username? Why did you choose it?

I really really like dandelions.

So I took the latin name for them and tweaked it. Hum is for 'some random hooman' and the double r is...for flavor!

It's really all there is, to be honest. I was looking for a new nickname to detach from the old one that has way too many real life connections and then I came up with this idea on the spot

It's... my real name with a typo.

So there were rare times I misspelled my surname Mulcahy (pronounced mul-KAH-hee) when I was in secondary school. It gave me and my friends at the time a laugh. About 2011/2012, I wanted a cool proper artist alias online (other than a name relating to Sonic the Hedgehog :omg:k:smile: and I was like "yeah Mulch is easier for non-Irish people to pronounce than Mulcahy" ahahah

... Only a few years later did I find out it meant a type of fertiliser Still using it though! A very earthy name.

Goodness, and I never read those books. What a coincidence, eh? I'm not a huge reader of fiction novels, weirdly enough. Not to stray too much off topic here, I seem to only prefer fiction in comics 'cos I love seeing the art to go with it. Non-fiction books though I could read for ages.

I get it, I prefer comics and the only books I read nowadays pretty much are non-fiction. Artemis Fowl books I read by chance as a kid but I really liked them though

I like more than my previous aliases and it best suites my personality/actions on tha web I used to go by zesty when I started to post on sandspiel, and then it was shroomy for a while. When I got back on sandspiel after like 2 years I went by lewis, but that was too formal and weird, so I changed it to louis and shortened it to lou.

Around 2017 I was really into Puyo Puyo and I played the character Sig the most. That's all folks!

On most sites I usually go by Sigmatic, which was basically just an evolution of me extending the name from Sig (too short) -> Sigma (too basic?) -> Sigmatic (yeah sure). There's more Sigmatics floating around on the web, but there's not One Sigmatic To Rule Them All yet so I have some time to plan my takeover

It's the most succint description I could come up of my favourite Marapets creature, the Yuni! I played this game a lot in my teens when I still liked kidsie stuff like Neopets but part of me also demanded something edgier. I feel like the Yuni summarizes that idea in its design.

my graffiti tag is midi! like a music file, it is basically just the word midi but the d-i is connected like a music note hehe. i very much adore graffiti culture and i like the anonymity my username + graffiti tag provides me

i couldnt have my username as ".midi" of course so i just verbalized the dot, and voila we have DotMidi!!

I was actually randomly looking at some grafitti in Japan a few years ago and they had a username as part of the artwork; I typed it into a search and I found they had a Neocities! (I wont link them because they sell NFTs now.. but it was cool to find back then!)
