How did you come up with your username? Why did you choose it?

Ok my username is kinda a long story but its also kinda interesting XD

So its all tied to my fursona, Glitchwolf. So originally, Glitchwolf was an OC i made. Specifically, he started as a minecraft OC, where the original idea came from inverting the colors of this wolf skin, and then I decided to make it into a character. He was supposed to be kinda like a minecraft creepypasta entity or sentient virus or something idk. But then idrk why, but I decided to make him my fursona XDD like it wasnt even originally a fursona character, just A CHARACTER. And then I just slapped a 47 on the end of the name for whatever reason (the number has absolutely no significance, its just a number) and then became GLITCHWOLF47 (or Glitchy as I go by around here ^^)

And thats why im called Glitchwolf47 (sorry if that was a bit convoluted)

I'm notoriously *BAD* at coming up with names, for anything. Like to the point it's a joke among my friend group. So I'm pretty darn proud of this one.

I'm an artist, and my Chinese zodiac is a Rooster. I've always loved the element of fire, and the phoenix is an important symbol for me on a personal level. While researching for a phoenix character, I came across the name of a mythological character associated with them, Luca. Combine all that and I came up with a pun on a rooster's noise - cockadoodledoo, Luca Doodle Doo.

For why I used it, I just kinda wanted to drop my old internet persona and restart. Plus being called ant didn't feel that bad :>

A few months ago I wanted to come up with a good username for all my social media, and after a little brain storming I came up with Beaspoon, bee and teaspoon because I think bees are cute and I like tea :)

I was having so many nicknames in my life, but I didn't like any of them very much, I'm just not very good at creating names, titles etc. I was just going through that "random something generator", I think it was random word generator. I took it, changed slightly and got koitan. Then my friend saw it and suggested me to make double "i" or "t" and I thought - hm, yeah that looks better. So koiitan stayed.

I really like it, but I'm not that deep fond with it. I much more like when nicknames have some random story interesting you wouldn't guess that would be linked with it, or when they have a connection with something very meaningful for you, but everyone has its own experiences, and I'm fine with mine. Despite going an easy way, I wouldn't change my nickname, I think it fits me nonetheless.

i got my name from the primary healing item in the dark souls games, the estus flask!
i tend to replace the u with a v, so it's estvs instead. i started doing this just because estus would be taken sometimes and v kind of looks like a u, but now when it isn't taken i have trouble deciding between them!  i use estvsflask or estusflask sometimes too xP
i started using it in middle school so after all this time estvs has become my Brand basically, but thankfully i still really like it!

you would expect me to play a lot of dark souls/fromsoft games, but i actually haven't played them that much  i would like to, but whenever i start playing one i get distracted doing other things.. i am actually very bad at them! i always call myself a fromsoft poser LOL

however, i do really enjoy the games still.. i just watch other people play them a lot! i guess at some point when i was younger i was doing that and was like.. Estus.. that sounds awesome actually..

For most of my online life, my username has contained "Pirate" somewhere in it. MrCaptainPirate was the gamertag I had probably the longest. It's kind of a generational thing as my Uncle's gamertag also had "Pirate" in his username.

I would also consider myself an Absurdist. Absurdism is the philosophy coined by French Philosopher Albert Camus. Basically a branch of existentialism. So that's where the "Absurd" part comes in.

I got the inspiration because I liked the name of the forum Agora Road's Macintosh Cafe, and so I followed a similar 4-word naming scheme with my website Absurd Pirate's Internet Lounge.

i was kinda bored of my old username so i was searching for something new. by that point i was just getting into touhou and while listening to music it just came to me: chiru (miru), like the cirno song.
i knew that song loooong before i even knew what touhou was and used to listen to it a lot as a kid, so i decided that would be it.
nowadays most of my friends (irl and from the internet) call me chiru and honestly i love it, it's cute and somewhat unique :3.

One day when I was making up a new username (went through them like underwear if they weren't my first name with some numbers before), I figured that those stock image memes back in 2016 were funny, that and the succ meme, threw a couple together and haven't looked back since, I just always have been called "sucky" and it's been like this for a good 9 years now; I think it's pretty funny, or at least fitting :/ .

i found a jimmy neutron parody facebook page called "why helo it is i jembles notronbo" some time in the 2010s and thought it was funny at the time if i combined my name with it. honestly not a knee-slapper but i still think jembles is a cute and unique name anyway so i use it as a screen name.

My username is based off my real life name and is in reference to my introverted nature. I also thought it was a bit funny seeing "Offline is online" on sites. No matter what my name is either ironic or fitting on matter what account I use or how often I use it.

I used to be really into The Beatles, so my first username in middle school when I got online was some variation of "sgt pepper" with some numbers at the end. I used that as my gamertag on Xbox Live, and used to play a bunch of CoD, and by high school I got real tired of people on voice chat calling me "sergeant" and not "pepper". sergeant felt way too masculine (still didn't know I was trans even though I knew I didn't like being a boy... yep...). So I payed the $15 or whatever to change my gamertag to "Pepper", with some numbers at the end.

I've gone by Pepper for so long online it might as well be my actual name. There are people I know in the local punk community IRL that only know me as Pepper, and when I was changing my first name as part of my transition I seriously considered Pepper, it was like my second choice 

OH and on spaces where the very generic name "Pepper" is almost certainly taken I either use a mispelling like "peppr" or use the "full name" of my username: "mildlypepper". I chose mildlypepper because when I wanted to start streaming and making youtube videos I wanted a "brand name" that was likely to remain unique. I'm pretty low-key and soft-spoken, and "mild pepper" was already taken on twitch, so I went with the adverb form. I never really stuck with the whole streaming thing but the name "mildlypepper" stuck and now it's my website name lol
