What are you working on at the moment?

My Pokémon shrine is finally done. It took quite some time to make all the graphics for my teams, as there sadly wasn't any better way to do it than play with PNGs in Photoshop. But now all my main teams and favourites are there. Every other update to this will be tiny.

I'm also working on a short story I've been writing for a long time now. This is a story I can only work on during very specific moods, and I'm finally in the right headspace. I hope I can finish this before the mood dissipates.

I am still working on the new pixel art for my website overhaul. Things had slowed down a bit since I experienced grief about a death, and also became sick and had some uni stress, but it's almost done. I am struggling a lot with the curtains... pixel art curtains are rough. But once it is done, most of the remaining pages simply stay the same, there's only 2 or 3 I have to rework a bit.
The new site will be a bit more focused, with less pages to constantly update and tinker with; I deleted some, and will consolidate some things into one page. I need to focus on other things like my uni stuff, delving deeper into coding, forum things, and my other hobbies and the pages I rework or create will be easier to make more mobile friendly.

Happens quickly in your personal website journey that you make tons of sites for everything, and then go in a circle updating the design or correcting coding mistakes or being unhappy with the earlier ones, since you keep learning and learning! Going back and changing my earlier pages to be in line with older ones with better coding ate a bit too much time for me, so a reduction was needed

I'm wishing you all the best, and a lot of strength and perseverance. I hope you can sleep and eat and drink enough, take enough breaks, and find an entry into the stuff you have to learn. There's no shame in having to take breaks, finding ways to make the studying less tedious and more fun, or even finding different media to learn with (like a podcast episode about it, or a YT video explaining it). 5 mins of work are better than nothing.

i'm currently working on my first uni show of the year - it's a play called the it and we're about to enter tech week on monday. i'm a little nervous since it's been a while since i've called cues, but i'm excited!

im currently working on my neocities site and my journaling habits. i wanna record how long i spent doing certain things during the day- like art or coding or chores. it helps me actually remember my day (im forgetful as hell)

I´m trying to finish the rest of my site´s Library section by adding at least one article. I´ve also been thinking of redesigning my site´s layout, which is rought around the edges, maybe figuring out a way to make it more responsive.

i just checked it out, it looks amazing :O i love it!! I haven't been playing pokemon for that long but I can really sense ur dedication to the series. plus the hall of fame is such a cool idea

• the school work that i probably should have started forever ago

im working on revamping an old "desktop" site layout i never finished in summer2022. the code was an absolute mESS when i started and i still have a lot to do before im done enough to update my site to it but i wanted to show where im at so far!!

i made the tabbar and "window" titles the url of the page and figured out how to use javascript to format dashes to spaces and slashes to small stars. and the back/forward/refresh buttons are fully functional now instead of just decoration!

I'm currently reworking my HTML code for the whole website because I've used deprecated tags like "center" and "font" a lot. And if I want to future-proof a bit the website, I need to clean up the code. I'm also adding different fonts for the different pages, it's not easy because I want to have something funky but still readable. When I'll be finished, I'll work on accessibility of the site for screen-readers.

I'm surprised that the "center" tag is still useful, I understand that it is deprecated due to the "HTML for content, CSS for visuals" stuff but I'm learning div classes now. Nothing hard but since the site is rather big, there's a good chunk of work that needs to be done. If I do it now it'll be easier for later as well.

I'm currently working on the foundry section of my website, which won't be unveiled until the release of my first retail typeface. Hopefully that'll be in 2025, but I have to start now because creating a website for buying a typeface is not easy.

Just realized my previous post in here is from November & is almost completely outdated. Update time!
I'm currently working on a bunch of OC profiles for my art site (mostly focused on the rainbow webring universe i have going on), so a lot of my recent art has just been reference material for the newer characters. I'm also debating adding a link directory to my personal site. I've got quite a bit of it coded, but do I really have enough links to share to justify it? I'll find more eventually.
