Coming out

(apologies if this is the wrong place, I'm pretty sure this is the right board.) I've been putting off telling this to anyone because of peoples reactions, I figured this would be a good place to start because of how supportive this forum and community has been to me. I am transitioning, I want to start going by She/her and I've been slowly growing to accept that this is me. I hope this doesn't change anything with anyone and I wish you all well!

I've seen people fail and destroy themselves completly with the drugs, they so desperately took to make their body change. Especially in the artist scene, I think people take this serious topic far too light-hearted.
Anyways, best luck on your path! Will surely be interesting.

I think its important to note that Skill isn't asking for information or cautions here (If it was about that Id prob remove the topic because thats not really what this forum is for); so we have to assume Skill has done the necessary research and has made an informed decision (or will do so in the future when/if necessary) - Skill is just asking for positive support from the community; and thats totally fine!

Hormone replacement therapy really is not anywhere close to that.

Im glad you can be yourself here! If anyone has a problem point me toward them and I'll straighten em out with a 20 page thesis on the social construct of sex and gender and the role it plays in enforcing strict hierarchies in society.
